During the research phase we mapped out the current service landscape and measured a set of 6000 IT requests across different activity bursts. From there we triaged each support issue in order to create a hierarchy of service needs. This allowed us to design a solution to the largest, most time consuming issues first and identify where the most value could be returned to the organisation.
